Simpler, smarter and more stylish the updated Amara Full Face Mask features a single universal frame size with a choice of two cushion styles -- soft blue gel or lightweight clear silicone. Amara's streamlined design is lighter and less intimidating than more traditional full face masks and its soft headgear is easy to adjust without pinching or over tightening.
Gel & Silicone Cushion Options: The updated Amara is available with two interchangeable cushions. The soft, Blue Gel Cushion provides exceptional seal and comfort with a soft outer shell that conforms to the face while a thicker inner wall supports the mask and adds stability. The lightweight, Clear Silicone Cushion offers a more traditional fit that uses airflow from your CPAP or BiPAP machine to seal the cushion gently against the face without pinching or pressure points.
A Real Lightweight: The Amara's simplified design makes it easy to fit and easy to use. 20% lighter than the leading full face mask, the Amara eliminates pressure on the face and drag on the headgear so it feels light to wear and is less susceptible to leaks. The Amara is easy to fit, easy to put on and easy to take off -- even one handed.
Simple & Easy To Wear: With just four parts the Amara is easy to clean and maintain. The cushion comes off with one click for cleaning and snaps back into place with one click when you're done -- there's no cushion clip to break, lose or replace!
Quick Release, Comfort Headgear: Amara Headgear is soft and sturdy with inlaid tabs for convenience in gripping. Quick release Talon Headgear Clips are easy to put on and take off and they're made of soft plastic so they won't break with repeated use. Just twist the Talon Clip to remove it from the mask frame and press to snap it back on.
Fine Glide Forehead Support: Amara's fine-glide forehead adjuster changes the forehead pad depth in minute increments. It's great for fine tuning mask fit and eliminating leaks with just one hand. The premium forehead pad distributes pressure evenly across the forehead reducing pressure points and discomfort.
Whisper Quiet Exhalation Ports: Angled Micro-Exhalation Ports in the mask elbow, like those found in the popular ComfortGel Blue and ComfortGel Blue Full, provide quiet diffuse airflow away from bed partners and the mask user.
Sized To Fit: The Amara Full Face Mask is available in four sizes -- petite, small, medium and large -- all of which will fit onto a single unified frame size. (Note: When originally released the Amara was available with both Standard and "RS" or Reduced Size frames. In late 2013 the Standard frame was discontinued. All current Amara masks use a single unified frame identical to the original "RS" Reduced Size frame.
Mask won't seal properly around eyes. Big disappointment!By Larry, 12-06-2016
Best mask I have ever had. No leaks, and it was here as promised. Fast shipping. Cpap Xchange is the best.!By Jamie, 04-07-2016
I use the Amara Gel (for almost 2 years) - The silicone version will not seal under the stress of high air pressure. Hands down the best mask on the market. Once your get the head gear set...no leaks but the cushion must be replaced every 4-6 weeks. My tip for the raw nose - I use a one inch piece of waterproof first aid tape over the bridge of my nose. I still use a backup mask once or twice a month to give my nose a break but the tape keeps the redness to a minimum.By Jorge, 09-27-2015
I've not used Respironics masks for 15 years or so since they never fit my face. Since it had been so long I decided to try one. It was totally useless. It leaked and leaked noisily. No adjustments I tried even came close to solving the problem.By Marty S, 09-09-2015
Amara(gel version) is the first full face mask that I have used that I was able to get a good seal just on the second try. My face is very wide(fat) and round, and I had this mask is very comfortable on me. I think I have found the perfect mask for me.By Brian W., 06-12-2014
Really wanted this mask to work and I tried hard....I'm a mouth breather and just couldn't get the leaks to stop. This mask is very comfortable for side sleepers. I"m allergic to the blue gel in other masks, but not this one. I like the sturdiness of the gel piece.By donna, 10-04-2013
Easy to fit though initially a lot of trial and error before the fit was just right, now it's a quick fit every night. Very easy to troubleshoot leaks! I sleep on my side and stomach rarely adjusting to fix leaks! I've read that there are bridge of nose soreness though I have not experienced it. No matter how tight I make the mask it doesn't hurt like others I've tried! By Mark, 11-18-2012
Loud leaks awaken my wife at night. Even after I am succesful at sealing it prior to sleep, any pressure on the mask from the sides will trigger a screech. Rigid large and hard to fit comfortably.By Ildefonso C., 08-07-2012
