This is the improved Breeze SleepGear CPAP/BiPAP Mask from Puritan Bennett. In response to patient feedback the already innovative and popular Breeze SleepGear system has received some welcome enhancements:

  • Improved Hose Guide design constructed from MUCH STRONGER materials
  • Halo straps can be positioned for greater flexibility and a more secure fit
  • Thicker, more comfortable padding on the cradle pad increases comfort
  • Cuff added to swivel adapter to make disconnecting quick and easy

The Breeze SleepGear Nasal Interface System provides the comfort of a custom fit, with multiple adjustments and Nasal Pillows size options to choose from. Unlike traditional headgear and masks, there are no confining straps to contend with. The integrated one-piece design floats over the face and contours the head. The Nasal Pillows assembly quickly snaps in and out of the interface.

The Breeze SleepGear is a complete Nasal Interface System and easily connects to standard CPAP/BiPAP tubing.

This mask is the only one I have been able to use comfortably. Anything else leaves red marks on my cheeks and disturbs my sleep since I sleep on my side. Thankfully there are no straps from my nose to my ears that will irritate my skin, which has a tendency to be sensitive. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because after a while the shell that holds the nose pieces begins to leak. It leaks around the adjustment knob first, then around the joint where the shell attaches to the hose and frame with the adjustment knob, then around the seams of the shell itself. I think it would benefit from a rubber-type o-ring under the adjustment knob, instead of a hard plastic one like it has now. I also think if the shell were all one molded piece, it would have less chance for leakage. I'm cynical in that I feel like these flaws are not addressed so the manufacturer can sell another mask when this one starts leaking. I use bandaging tape at the leak points to extend the life of the mask, but I still have to replace it about every 5-6 months. I also replace the nose pieces on a regular basis...about every month or so. - Reviewed By: Magnolia, Vicksburg
