ComfortGel NASAL Mask Parts - Original Gel Nasal Cushion & SST Flap |
These Original Gel Nasal Cushions and Comfort Flaps are supplied with all ComfortGel Nasal CPAP Masks; they are also compatible with all ComfortGel BLUE Nasal CPAP Masks. The Original Gel Nasal Cushion fits around the nose and can be custom molded for a better fit. The Secure Seal Technology (SST) Comfort Flap fits over the gel cushion to improve overall seal and help extend the life of the cushion.
SIZING NOTES: The ComfortGel Nasal mask uses three different mask frame sizes -- Petite, Small/Medium, and Large. Petite cuhsions and flaps will only fit the Petite frame. Large cushions and flaps will only fit the Large frame. Small and Medium cushions and flaps are interchangeable and can be used on any Small/Medium frame. For proper operation the Comfort Flap must be the same size as the Nasal Cushion it will be used with.
FITTING NOTES: The Original Gel Nasal Cushion can be customized using a boil-and-fit procedure as described in the ComfortGel Nasal CPAP Mask User Instructions (PDF).

The BLUE Gel Nasal Cushion features a new generation, soft, pliable gel cushion that readily adapts to facial features, thereby simplifying fit and contributing to overall comfort. Respironics Premium Headgear has a simplified design for improved comfort and durability. It uses soft, wide Lycra stretch fiber straps to provide a stable fit that stands up to long term use. It is highly resistant to fraying and curling and eliminates the stitching which can cause irritation.
