FitLife Total Face CPAP/BiPAP Mask with Headgear

FITLIFE FULL FACE CPAP MASK 1060802Facial hair, dentures, nasal bridge breakdown, facial irregularities, and claustrophobia are issues that can greatly impact sleep therapy acceptance and compliance. The FitLife Total Face CPAP Mask from Respironics offers a comfortable and easy to use solution for men and women facing these challenges.

The FitLife creates a robust seal around the less pressure-sensitive perimeter of the face to avoid disrupting the wearer's view. Its advanced headgear with easy-to-use snap clips and EZ Peel tabs simplify application and removal. Because pressure and flow inside the mask are equalized, eye irritation is minimized. Built-in radial diffusion leak ports -- in the mask's elbow -- deflect exhaled air away from the bed partner and provide quiet operation.

  • Large surface area equalizes pressure and flow inside the mask, minimizing eye irritation
  • Available in three sizes, the Large FitLife fits most users. The Small size is available for petite users and the ExtraLarge size is available for users with larger faces
  • EZ Peel headgear tabs allow for quick, easy adjustment and removal of mask and headgear
  • Headgear Snap clips simplify putting on and taking off headgear so that there is no need to refit after removal
  • Perimeter mask seal with soft silicone cushion fits quickly and evenly for maximum comfort
  • Entrainment elbow valve triggers access to room air if therapy pressure drops below 3CM H2O
  • Unique radial diffusion exhaust ports deflect exhaled air away from bed partners and provides quiet operation
  • An In-line pressure pick-off port allows for pressure measurement or O2 bleed in

Good product

My ahi average has been below 1 with it. I actually hab a zero for one nite. The only problem is the elbow slips out no and then . They are goung to replac it as soon as my other mask arrives i will exchange it. The main reason i got this mask is my allergies actually dose come through my eyes. Since i got this mask no problem with nite time allergies.

cpap mask

I am very satisfied with this mask. It fits my face the way that my old mask did.

FitLife Total Face Mask

This is the first Total or Full Face Mask I have tied to use. The size guild line recommended Large for most people. I think Ex-Large may work better for me. I have to pull the headgear too tight to stop the noise from escaping air at the top. There have been very few nights that I have been able to sleep all night without pulling it off or putting my old mask back on.

Total Face Mask

The mask was reasonably comfortable and did provide good visibility. However I found it just too hot to sleep in and returned the mask for a refund.

Its ok

I would like this more, it fits well without agitating my face but it keeps air from the face as well and gets hot from exhaling.

FitLife Total Face CPAP/BiPAP Mask with Headgear

Excellent mask! Should have ordered this sometime ago. Fit well and stays on without aggravating my face or nose. Seals good all through the night even with turning around.
By Chris M,

This is the Best Comfort Mask Ever

Good in all positions, Back or side, my first night with it has been my best night sleep ever. Thank you for making this mask design.

Good Quality Mask

I purchased this mask because I had problems with using a nasal mask. I have a severe sinus condition and the direct air pressure applied to my nose really affected me terribly. The other problem is that the air would get into my eyes and cause dry eyes. This mask works better for me because it does not affect my eyes as much. However, this mask might take most people sometime to adjust to wearing, especially if you are a stomach or side sleeper. Sometimes it does leak but if you tighten the strap or adjust the lining the leaking should stop. Lastly, I would rate it for comfort at 7.5.

Pleased with mask

Best mask I have tried. Most comfortable and quietest mask I have owned. Is it perfect, no because not having sleep apnea would be the only perfect solution. This mask doesn't leave marks on my face and is easy to take off and put on. If you haven't found the mask that's right for you then this one is more than worth trying.
By Mark P,

I love this mask!

This mask is the perfect fit for my sister who has a brain injury. it is the least restrictive mask we tried so far. We can't say enough about how much we love it. Minimal leakage too!

Could use a couple of design tweaks

I bought this mask because the full face mask that I usually use leaves marks on either side of my nose, and so I was looking for something to use as an alternate that I could switch in every once in a while to give my nose a break. I can't stand the masks that sit on or go into your nostrils, so a total face mask was kind of the only alternative. I've been using this one for about two weeks now. Had some trouble with leaks at the upper corners over my temples, and I can't quite get them to stop by adjusting the straps. More bothersome are what strike me as a couple of minor design flaws– One is the mounting for the hose intake, which is held on by a friction ring and tends to pop off fairly easily, like when you're turning over and there's some pressure on the hose. That's very annoying when it happens in the middle of the night. Of the half-dozen masks I've owned in the past, this is the only one that is just held on by a ring and pops off that easily. The other problem I have with it has to do with how the lower part of the mask sits on the face. Like a lot of fullface masks, it runs between your bottom lip and the bottom of your chin, but while that seems to function pretty well with those masks, it doesn't seem to work as well with this larger mask. I have trouble with my lower lip actually sliding out from underneath the seal. I've gotten to where I actually seat the mask so that the lower seal is slightly under my chin, which works, but is slightly uncomfortable because that puts the upper seal right across my eyebrows. I think the design would've been far better if they had just had the seal at the bottom run under the chin instead of between the lower lip and chin. All in all, not a bad mask, and it pretty much does what I bought it for. It's just a shame that it isn't slightly more thoughtfully design.

Perfect from start of ordering process to delivery of the product

This was amazingly easy as I was replacing a total face mask already owned. I just ordered what I knew I needed and boom....done!!!! I will definitely be using this website for all future cpap needs!!!!
By Jeff,

The CPAP is working very well. The mask is more comfortable. I had the full mask and it hurt my nose. I was not sleeping well for about 4 weeks and was told that was normal. I don't think driving a truck it should be ok to be so tired that I could hardly stay awake. I wasn't that tired before using the CPAP. I think it was unsafe to be driving. But the person I talked to said it is OK, I could not believe that. I know everyone will not be have the same problem but if they do, the company that makes them get it, should give paid time off. If the government wants it then they should pay for you to be off. Or there needs to be laws passed to cover this starting time for CPAP. Personally I think if someone is told they are not sleeping they should not be driving.

Easy Fit and Easy Use

Had trouble finding a mask to seal well due to missing teeth. This does the trick for me. Very quick delivery too.
By Mike,

The best mask

My husband breathes thru his mouth when he sleeps which makes it difficult to adjust a mask. I have purchased 3 different ones, including the hybrid which covers the nose and mouth. By far this total face XL is the best.
By Carmen ,

So far it has been the most comfortable mask that I have used. I still have some leakage problems that I haven't been able to eliminate.
By Swede,

Great concept but not for a side sleeper

This mask fit well and sealed with out any problems. I love how it felt on my face but I am a mouth breather and a side sleeper. This mask would be perfect if it went all the way to the bottom of the chin like the FlexiFit 432 and also was a lot more shallow allowing you to sleep on your side. I returned mine to get another FlexiFit 432
By Corey B,

Not for large faces

I was excited about this mask and all the good reviews. Unfortunately, I have a really large face, and I am a mouth breather. The largest mask available does not fit my face very comfortably. Despite not fitting well, this mask seals great, even with facial hair. I like the general concept of the mask and the low amount of strap / mask impressions left after a night of sleep. The largest mask had to have the top of the mask seal placed on my eyebrows and the bottom of the mask was just barely on my lower lip. When I open my mouth to breath while sleeping, the bottom of the mask would often slip off my lip and go in my mouth. Because the mask was so far down my face, the straps generally ended up pressing my ears down - very uncomfortable. Adjusting the mask to a higher position on my face would cause the bottom of the mask to not cover my mouth. I wish they made this mask one size larger as I think that would work well for me.

By Derrick,

This was first used by me in the hospital ICU at North Austin Medical Center. I found it absolutely great for my biPap. Some leaks but not really bothersome.
By Leigh,

Best so far after countless tries

I have dental problems that left me with not being able to wear dentures. and have chipmunk cheeks from that. This mask is the only one that has come close to doing what it should do. I gave it 5* even though it does leak a very small amount at the top forehead area due to curve in mask cushion. but that is easily corrected. A little warm inside, but tolerable. Vent holes moved to top would fix that. This mask has allowed me to get FULL nights sleep without waking to re adjust all the time. It is well worth the price. After 7 years of going from one mask to another and countless size adjustment and each, I have found the one that is the best.
By Lee S.,

No nose pressure

I have dentures and problems keeping my nose clear and this mask is a good fit for me.
By tstockford,

I went through six or seven Cpap mask and they all make red marks on my fair skin that took a day to go away. I ordered the FITLIFE TOTAL FULL face mask that covers the whole face and it is wonderful. I wake up and no marks on my face. I love it!

C-pap mask with headgear.

Full face mask is wonderful, however the straps holding to face are very difficult to maneuver. One of the clasps broke the second night. It is hanging on with a little piece of plastic.
