Worst mask ever. The nasal pillows will not seal properly.

Good mask

Good mask and come complete with head strap and several replacement parts. The only setback is that if you move too much during sleep tend to have gaps and the air is released. For the rest is a great mask..

Worst mask ever

I've been using cpap equipment for over 15 years, and this has got to be the worst mask ever. After twenty minutes, I threw it in the garbage. The headgear is really hard to navigate, and the mask leaks badly.

I bought this because the ones the insurance's provider gave me leaked under full pressure and they wouldn't give me another. This one was poor quality compared to my others and leaked under low pressure. Do not waste your money.

Wonderful once I manipulated

Pressure setting is 14 CFM. Bought this to resolve air leaks into my eyes with a full face mask. Did not fall in love with it at first but there was no going back to air leaks. Glad I persevered. Here are some tips: First don't go large on the mouth pad. Logically a person goes with the size that frees their mouth to speak but when your sleeping your not speaking so go with the size that fits into the contours around your mouth to create a good seal. Second chose a nasal prong size that creates a seal within a quarter inch inside your nares. If need be, change and mix and match different sizes of both and you will soon notice which set naturally feels better and create a seal. After months of wearing I grew tired of the silicon bridge between the nasal prongs (it pushed on my septum) so I cut it off (try it on an obsolete size first.) Amazing I discovered that I could tip the prongs inward and backward to meet the angle placement of my nares in relation to the mask because of a ring design in the prongs used for seating the seal. And finally once on I hold a finger over the antiasphyxia valve and release so that the air pressure pops it into correct position. I read complaints that hybrids are noisy or are for low pressure users. What I discovered with my trying different combinations what that once I found my personal combination (small mouth and medium prongs) I cannot feel the mask on my face and it is perfectly silent. I you are hearing sound even through the exit ports then try the antiasphyxia valve first to resolve it and if that doesn't then likely a seal issue to resolve.

I have never been able to tolerate any other mask but this particular is literally a life saver....

Great idea, but lacks in functionality

I ordered this with high hopes that this is the mask I've been looking for, but even though the idea has merit it is lacking in a couple differ areas (at least for me). First fit, the built in chin strap barely fit under my chin which made seating the mask a challenge. Now I do want to say I have a goatee, but I had read that this mask was good for those with facial hair. Second, I keep a pretty good eye on my machines logs (i.e. large leaks, APH, etc...) this was the first mask I have ever used that had 100% leakage for the night. After a little closer examination I found there is a plastic flap on the connector tube that just hangs open and no matter how hard I tried the flap would never seal properly. I used it the one night and now it just sits in it's really nice case. I think they should have put more emphasis not the mask and less on the case.

I wasn't sure I would like this mask when I ordered it, but it works great. It has a lot of potential for leaks, so it needs to be properly fitted and adjusted. After that, it does its job well. I am satisfied with the quality and performance.

I LOVE this mask!!

You have to be patient, and really cinch the headgear tight, especially the over the top of the head strap, that is what holds the nasal pillows in place. Plus you have to play with the different sizes of pillows to get just the right fit. I have to look in the mirror each time I put it on, to get the pillows in exactly, but now that I have warn it for a couple of weeks, it only takes a minute or two. I only wish the chin guard was made of fabric, or fabric lined, the silicone gets hot and it sticks.
