C-FLEX™ TECHNOLOGY

Originally introduced in 2002, C-Flex reduces pressure slightly during exhalation to make breathing feel more natural and comfortable. C-Flex has become extremely popular and is available on Respironics REMstar Plus, REMstar Pro, and REMstar Auto CPAP systems.

A-FLEX™ TECHNOLOGY
|
|
This technology is designed to provide maximum comfort by matching pressure delivery to the patient’s entire breathing cycle. Available exclusively on the REMstar Auto system A-Flex will vary pressure levels as needed, on inhalation and exhalation to provide the most comfortable therapy possible. A-Flex also softens the pressure transition from inhalation to exhalation to provide additional comfort in an Auto-CPAP mode. In addition if breathing events occur the A-Flex pressure profile will be raised to eliminate those events, while simultaneously making sure that pressure never rises to a level that is unnecessarily, and uncomfortably, high.

By tracking each breath, Bi-Flex pressure relief technology delivers pressure relief at three critical points in the breathing cycle: the transition from exhalation to inhalation, the transition from inhalation to exhalation, and during exhalation.
