A-FLEX™ Pressure Relief Technology from Respironics
|
This technology is designed to provide maximum comfort by matching pressure delivery to the patient’s entire breathing cycle. Available exclusively on the M-Series REMstar Auto system A-Flex will vary pressure levels as needed, on inhalation and exhalation to provide the most comfortable therapy possible. A-Flex also softens the pressure transition from inhalation to exhalation to provide additional comfort in an Auto-CPAP mode. In addition if breathing events occur the A-Flex pressure profile will be raised to eliminate those events, while simultaneously making sure that pressure never rises to a level that is unnecessarily, and uncomfortably, high.
