This premium SoftEdge Headgear from ResMed is designed for use with all AirFit F10 & AirFit F10 For Her CPAP/BiLevel Masks. Three sizes -- Small, Medium, Large -- are available in two different color schemes -- gray with pink highlights and gray with blue highlights.
AirFit F10 & AirFit F10 For Her SoftEdge Headgear has slim straps made of premium, rolled-edge fabric so it is comfortable to wear and reduces facial marking. It is designed to be worn more loosely than traditional headgear so the mask cushion can adapt to facial contours and movement through the night without pressure, pinching or creasing.
Color Information: This headgear is available in a gray with blue highlights or gray with pink highlights.
Size Information: SoftEdge Headgear with Blue Highlights is available in three sizes: Small, Standard, Large. SoftEdge Headgear with Pink Highlights is available in one size, that is the same size as the Small Blue SoftEdge Headgear, but is labeled Standard. Standard Blue or Standard Pink Headgear is provided with all AirFit F10 & AirFit F10 For Her masks; however any size and color can be used with any AirFit F10 or AirFit F10 For Her mask.
Unfortunately this headgear does not hold well. The material is thin, like thin covered elastic bands and the Velcro is so thin it does not hold or stay in place. I have now purchased three of these headgears "for her" in the past three months and none work. I purchased them for my mother's Airfit 10 full face mask, but the pulling apart and leaks are constant. We have even changed mask sizes (Airfit 10 full face mask is made much smaller than respironics soft fell masks which mom was using), The concept of the Airfit 10 is wonderful but the masks need to be wider around the mouth and the headgear has to be made to stay on. I am so tired of hearing the alarm on the Bipap beeping over and over all night. Also, the headgear "for her" is a one size fits all for women. What's up with that? Women have different head sizes just as men do. I hope other masks with a similar concept (nothing on the forehead) are soon on the market with more width on the mask and much stronger headgear with much stronger adhesive strength,By My girl, 04-27-2016
