About the size of a can of cola, and weighing less than a pound, Transcend EZEX miniCPAP is one the smallest, lightest, most portable CPAP machines in the world. And while it's small, it is sophisticated too so it's great for home as well as travel.
Transcend EZEX Mini is a premium CPAP with EZEX pressure relief for comfort. It is compatible with all CPAP masks and includes a wide pressure range, adjustable ramp, therapy tracking, a universal power supply, and automatic altitude adjustment.
Small, Lightweight & Portable: The Transcend EZEX Premium CPAP Machine is durable and strong; but it weighs less than a pound so it'll never weigh you down. It's small too and it looks great; at just 6.1 x 3.5 x 2.8 inches Transcend EZEX will fit in the palm of your hand and it can be easily stowed away in a carry on bag for travel!
EZEX Pressure Relief Technology: Like C-Flex from Respironics or EPR from Resmed, the Transcend EZEX offers pressure relief for comfort. Transcend EZEX delivers a more natural breathing experience by decreasing therapy pressure at the end of each breath, reducing the amount of resistance experienced during exhalation to improve overall therapy comfort. There are four EZEX settings -- OFF, 1, 2 and 3 -- that progressively increase the amount of exhalation pressure relief from none to a maximum of approximately 3CM.
Compatible with Your Favorite CPAP Mask: The Transcend EZEX comes complete with a Universal Hose Adapter and a standard 6-foot CPAP hose so it can be used with any mask on the market -- including your favorite!
Whisper Quiet Operation: Unique air bearing blower technology eliminates heat and friction in the Transcend EZEX so it can deliver vibration-free therapy at a whisper quiet 26.6 dBA sound level.
Ramp Up To Comfort: Many people find it is easier to fall asleep with a lower therapy pressure that gradually increases to the full prescribed pressure setting over time. The Transcend's ramp comfort feature does this. Ramp slowly increases therapy pressure over time (settings from 0 to 45 minutes) so you can breathe naturally as you fall asleep. If you wake up in the night and have trouble falling back to sleep, the ramp can be reinitiated with the simple push of a button.
Convenient Compliance Tracking: If you want to track therapy compliance -- for yourself, for your job, or for your doctor -- the Transcend EZEX will help you do it. Transcend EZEX records, stores, and reports on up to 13 months of therapy compliance data -- including total therapy hours, therapy sessions, total blower hours, AHI and leak detection. Transcend Software (Included for Windows PCs) lets print out reports or email therapy data directly to your healthcare provider.
Great For Home, Perfect For Travel: For the first time you have small, portable, and lightweight options for sleeping with CPAP while you're on the road, in a plane, under the stars, in a boat, an RV, a remote cabin, or even just weathering a power outage at home. Transcend EZEX is ready to use anywhere you are with automatic altitude adjustment to 8,000 feet above sea level. When traveling outside the US the Transcend will convert the voltage automatically so you can continue receiving safe and comfortable therapy and each Transcend EZEX contains plug adapters for use in many countries worldwide. Make sure you download the FAA Compliance Letter and the Transcend EZEX In the Himalayas video in the Links section of this page.
Amazing Power Options: The optional Transcend EZEX Mobile Power Adapter will power the Transcend EZEX (or recharge a Transcend Battery Pack) from "cigarette" style DC Power Outlets like those found in most vehicles.
Lightweight Transcend Batteries are are great option if you want to sleep away from fixed power sources. Weighing just over half a pound the P4 battery powers a Transcend for one night on average. For more time away, the P8 battery weighs just over a pound and will last for 2-3 nights on average. Transcend Batteries can also be attached to your CPAP as a backup power supply so your CPAP will work flawlessly, even during a power outage. Batteries can be recharged with AC, DC or Solar Power!
Optional Integrated Heated Humidifier: For added comfort the Transcend EZEX is available with an Integrated Heated Humidifier! The unique design of the Transcend Heated Humidifier conserves space by cradling the CPAP machine in the center of the humidifier and chamber. Heater settings (from 0 off to 5 highest) are easy to manage with a simple dial; and the water chamber holds a generous 1 1/3 cups of water. The Heated Humidifier includes a universal power supply and is powered by a slimline power cord separate from the Transcend's power supply. The Transcend Heated Humidifier cannot be powered with a Transcend Batter Pack or Mobile Power Adapter (DC Cord).
I am so glad that I bought the Transcend EZEX mini CPAP. It works great and I find it to be quiet and easy to use. Having used a CPAP for about 22 years, this is definitely my favorite system so far. Looking forward to my next trip and being able to pack this super light weight machine for airport travel. Excellent product. By Mary B, 05-31-2016
I got my Transcend in the last weeks with the larger P8 battery. I am on 6 mm H2O and got 3 nights use 6-8 hours on the battery. Recently took it backpacking in the Adirondacks for a 2 night trip, and worked great. Overall weight with the machine, larger battery, light weight hose, and mask is less than 3 pounds. I don't use added water in the summer or travel, and didnt get that attachment for this. Little noisier than my home one, but did not bother my neighboring tent mates and didnt keep me awake. I'm planning on a longer 10+ day camping trip and cannot afford to go without my Cpap for that long. Only complaint is that I tried to connect a previous owned backpackers solar panel, and could not get a connection attachment to fit ...yet. Technology is great with smaller sizes. Highly recommend this. By Survival Medic, 05-30-2016
I so wanted this machine to live up to my expectations. Unfortunately, it falls short. Given its diminutive size, I never expected it to perform as well as my larger, Respironics Remstar model; but I at least expected some expiratory relief pressure. This model is, after all, called "EZEX", which i assume means "easy exhale". The EXP function is barely detectable. A few seconds into my exhale, it's almost like there's a 'block", which stops my exhale in midstream. It should be noted, I returned my Transcend EZEX, assuming it was defective. I was told the settings, including the optimum EXP setting, "3" weren't "saved". Unfortunately, the returned device performed no better. I was hoping the Transcend would allow more room in my carry on bag, but this machine won't be making too many trips. I'm aware everything in life is a compromise but this little device isn't worth the trouble. One positive note: while its performance is subpar, the rechargeable lithium battery easily lasts the entire night. Which means about the only time I'll be using this machine is in the event of a power outage.By Steve, 07-06-2014
I wanted to get a CPAP machine that I could take camping / Backpacking. So the weight & size had to be right and have the ability to run off rechargeable batteries. This one fit the bill. It is also very quiet so as to not create a problem for those sharing small spaces together. Haven't had the chance for camping, but did take on a 4 day business trip and it did quite well. Would give it 5 stars but it needs just a little more indication what ramp time is and how to adjust. I like a quick ramp up (5 min), but didn't know how to adjust the settings to change and view. Wow, the Transcend is really small! It fits in the bottle holder on the side of my backpack so it's easy to take out for security at airports, and the EZEX thing is good like the C Flex on my Remstar PlusBy Tony R., 12-24-2013
