No matter how well your mask fits, the nightly pressure from the frame on the bridge of your nose can cause skin breakdown, pain and even sores. The Gecko Gel Nasal Pad from ResMed is a great sleep accessory that protects against skin irritation, red marks, sores and swelling, at the bridge of the nose, caused CPAP masks. In addition the smooth gel pad gradually moisturizes your skin and helps to prevent air leaks in the hard to fit areas at and around the top of the nose.
The Gecko Nasal Pad is made from a polymer gel material that is hypoallergenic, silicone free and latex free. To use it, simply apply the pad to your face and place your mask -- nasal or full face -- on over the pad. There are no adhesives! The winged design of the Gecko Pad covers the bridge of your nose and cheeks. Your mask to rests on the pad creating a comfortable, leak free seal.
When you awake after a refreshing nights sleep wash the pad with a mild soap and water and pat it dry for continued use or storage. With proper maintenance, a single Gecko Nasal Pad is designed to last for up to a month. Gecko Pads should be replaced routinely, just like standard mask cushions or headgear.

Very strong and unpleasant smell.
Dont like it. The smell is strong and unpleasant to me. Disappointing.

nose Job
Not worth the $25 for sure, does not stay on your nose at all . Don’t recommend this product at all . Wish I could get my $ back .

Great product
I am glad I bought the Gecko nasal pad. No more red marks on my nose and it prevent air leaks. Great product and fast delivery! I will order again.

COULDN'T KEEP A SEAL
I completely agree with SusieCPap - I woke with it in my eye, it didn't allow my face mask to seal tightly,air was leaking out and making lots of noise. It feels great on the nose, but I could never get it to stay in one place while getting the mask on. I was very disappointed.

Gel Nasal Pad leaks
In trying the Gel Nasal Padd, it leaked and didn't seal. I'm using tape instead.

Gel Nasal Pad
I am happy with my gel nasal pad. It solved the problem I was having with the mask rubbing a sore spot on the bridge of my nose.

It didn't work for my purpose
I bought it to prevent the red mark on the bridge of my nose made by the pressure of the nasal mask. Unfortunately, it let air seep out so I couldn't use it.

Not worth $!
Purchased this product knowing it was costly, but if it actually worked, would have excepted the exorbitant price. My husband still has redness and soreness on his nose from his Bipap mask. Folding a bandage pad into a triangle shape and taping it then placing that (tape side not against the nose) actually worked much better. Really disjointed in the product.

Doesn't stay in place hard to get seal
It's a bummer this product doesn't work better because it would be more comfortable. It is hard to get the mask to seal properly. The pad doesn't stay in place. I've woken up several times with the pad in my eye which is not conducive to a good night's sleep. If anybody has had success with this product id like to know what the trick is. For now I'll have to put up with a bruise on my nose.
