BLUE Gel Nasal Cushions and SST Comfort Flaps are supplied with all ComfortGel BLUE Nasal CPAP/BiPAP Masks. They are also compatible with ComfortGel "Original" NASAL CPAP/BiPAP Masks. The BLUE Gel Nasal Cushion features a new generation, soft, pliable gel that readily adapts to facial features, thereby simplifying fit and contributing to overall comfort. The Secure Seal Technology (SST) Comfort Flap fits over the gel cushion to improve overall seal and help extend the life of the cushion.
Sizing Information: The ComfortGel BLUE Nasal mask uses three different mask frame sizes -- Petite, Small/Medium, and Large. Petite cushions and flaps will only fit the Petite frame. Large cushions and flaps will only fit the Large frame. Small and Medium cushions and flaps are interchangeable and can be used on any Small/Medium frame. For proper operation the Comfort Flap must be the same size as the Nasal Cushion it will be used with.
Do Not Boil: The Original Gel Nasal Cushion used a boiling procedure to better mold the cushion to the users face, the BLUE Gel Nasal Cushion has been updated to better fit the face without boiling. Please do not boil the BLUE Gel Nasal Cushion!

Over the past year, the cushions are wearing out much faster than in the past, although this same cushion has been ordered for several years from cpapXchange. They used to last 4-5 months between changes, but are are now losing their resilience in 2 months or less with the same nightly usage and the same cpap machine. Not sure what has changed in the manufacturing, but the price remains about the same, although quality seems to have deteriorated in terms of usage time. By tigerbill89, 09-26-2017

With care the mask frame lasts a long time. I've never broken one and now that I can get the silicone gel replacements I am set. One note of caution is that when we travel and park the camper, if it gets too hot the silicone turns to goo! If I think it might get too hot I put the mask in the fridge! I quite like this mask for a couple of reasons. First, it is quite comfortable, and seals up good despite my Fumanchu mustache. Second, after doing the overnight sleep study, I was told I do not have Sleep Apnia; however the Pulmonary Specialist that reviewed the study recommended I try using a CPAP machine to eliminate my snoring, and help elevate my blood O2 level at night. The difference in my sleep and how I feel the next morning is noticeable; well worth the effort to use the machine.
