Sleek, Modern Design with Full Color Display: DreamStation's simple shape and full color display are a welcome change for sleep therapy patients used to bulkier, heavier, uglier device options. It is small and light with a modern, non-medical design that looks great on a bedside table, is user friendly, and fits easily in the included travel bag.
Intuitive Graphic User Interface & Ambient Light Sensors: DreamStation's graphic user interface was designed with feedback from patients and doctors so it is easy to use, intelligent and informative. The machine's a large navigation dial is intuitive and convenient; and the bright, front facing display uses simple menus, icons and labels that are easy to understand.
DreamStation's settings can be adjusted while lying down or sitting up in bed and the machine's ambient light sensor adjusts display brightness automatically depending on light levels in the room.
Advanced Auto-CPAP Algorithm Adjusts to Your Changing Needs: The DreamStation Auto is an advanced APAP machine that monitors your breathing for flow limitations and adapts to them, automatically adjusting therapy throughout the night to ensure you're receiving the optimum pressure for a comfortable and successful sleep.
DreamStation Auto goes a step beyond traditional APAP therapy with Opti-Start. When Opti-Start is enabled DreamStation Auto will begin each therapy session at a pressure that is close to the previous session's 90% pressure, in order to reduce the likelihood of residual events at the beginning of a therapy session.
A Step Up, SmartRamp Makes Therapy Easy: In addition to the traditional pressure ramp available on most sleep therapy devices, DreamStation Auto offers SmartRamp for an easier experience at the onset of sleep. When SmartRamp is enabled the DreamStation Auto will monitor your therapy levels, during the ramp period, to deliver lower overall pressure until it detects an obstructive respiratory event. When an event is detected SmartRamp responds to resolve the event, raising pressures as required until the ramp period concludes.
Optional Integrated Humidifier with Heated Tubing: The DreamStation's Heated Humidifier is an elegant match to the DreamStation Auto's intelligent therapy offerings. The humidifier snaps securely onto the back of the DreamStation device to form a single integrated unit that can be setup and adjusted from the machine's primary LCD display.
In "Standard" mode the DreamStation Heated Humidifier acts like a typical heated humidifier, heating to the same pre-selected temperature level throughout the night. But the DreamStation Heated Humidifier can go beyond that with an "Adaptive" mode that delivers a precise, user selected, level of humidification at the mask throughout the night regardless of external factors like room temperature, flow rate, or external humidity. DreamStation Heated Tubing can also be added to provide extra protection from rainout and allow greater humidity levels than traditional non-heated tubing.
Advanced Comfort Features & A-Flex Pressure Relief: Philips Respironics's clinically-proven A-Flex pressure relief technology enhances traditional positive airway pressure therapy to improve comfort and increase compliance. Thanks to the advanced Digital Auto-Trak algorithm, that detects the onset of inspiration and exhalation, the DreamStation Auto delivers just the right amount of pressure relief, at the beginning and end of every breath, to provide a more natural breathing experience.
In addition to A-Flex, DreamStation Auto is equipped with Mask Fit Check tool to help with mask fitting, a Performance Check tool to ensure that your machine is working properly, EZ-Start adaptive therapy technology to help acclimate new sleep therapy users, and Auto On/Off capabilities to automatically start and stop therapy when a user puts on or takes off their mask.
Enhanced Compliance with Bluetooth & the DreamMapper App: DreamStation was built from the ground up to make therapy tracking and compliance easy and understandable for patients and doctors. Each device comes with built in therapy data storage and Bluetooth communications built-in. After each sleep session the DreamStation displays a Sleep Progress report on the LCD screen. The Sleep Progress report shows nightly usage over the past 3 sleep sessions as well as summary data from the past 30 days. More detailed information is also available within the "My Info" section of the device or via the free DreamMapper App (iPhone, iPad & Android). An optional SD Data Card can be purchased for additional data storage.
DreamStation Auto tracks, and adjusts therapy levels to respond to, many common OSA related events including Hypopneas, Flow Limitation, Respiratory Effort Related Arousal, Snores, and Leaks. In addition it can detect many symptoms beyond classic OSA -- such as clear airway apneas and periodic breathing -- that may indicate the need for specialized therapy.
FAA Approved & Travel Friendly: The DreamStation Auto is great for home, but it is FAA approved and built for travel as well. Without a humidifier it weighs just 3 lbs and fits easily in the supplied carry case or any overnight travel bag. DC power cord and battery options are also available for camping, air travel and boating.

Good customer service
Customer service realized the machine I'd purchased was not the correct one for my prescription and contacted me immediately so I could get my prescription changed or change to the correct machine. Sadly, the machine I need costs quite a bit more so I'll have to save for that difference, but customer service refunded me for the original purchase right away and sent a discount code for when I 'm ready to buy the correct machine. Good customer service is worth it's weight in gold these days, so I'll definitely be coming back here to buy my machine when I'm ready. :)

First new machine in 15 years
Sleek, quiet, trusted operation and readings. But Emily at cpapXchange service made the difference! I had the machine re-boxed and ready to return. Missing Info access, seemed stuck on no Auto. I actually got a service rep live in 5 minutes and thank goodness it was Emily. Patient, empathetic and knowledgeable. She walked me through each set-up adjustment, fix and perfect. I love the machine. She saved a customer and now I buy all future supplies through cpapXchange. (Phillips Respironics was pathetic. I tried twice to get through to service, once half an hour wait, the next 45 minutes. Never did pick up. How useless they are.)

Purchased outright versus renting from national company.
Had some issues while renting a DreamStation for a couple of years, such to the point where I asked my sleep clinic doc for a prescription to purchase one outright, which she was more than happy to do, and then I found one at CPAPxChange for a terrific price, brand new, with the same warranty as the rental. No more billings every month (paid cash in full from my HSA) and insurance probably will reimburse once it's submitted. Only costs, other than distilled water, are the two filters which I've found online for 1/2 the cost of what my copay was for them, and no more monthly rental fee. The service and products were second to none. Had some questions, but the CPAPxChange was so very helpful in making this happen for me and I would recommend any- and everyone own their own CPAP machine. There also are payment plans. Good luck and happy ZZZ's!

Great Machine. Quieter than the ResMed.
Pretty quiet machine. Easy to setup and use. Really like the menus and display (once you get the advanced menus active). The humidifier is extremely easy to fill and does the job. Works well with a SoClean machine.

Good machine
Buying from cpapxchange was very smooth and timely. Nothing negative at all to report. The machine itself was a replacement for a similar model that conked out on me without warning after two years. I would have expected a longer life given the price. Repair would cost the same as replacement, so no cheap option. Machine works great when it is working!

Best Customer Service Period. Love the Machine.
After dealing with a company that my Doctor sent me to for a new machine and having the worst experience ever I returned the items and went back to cpapxchange and got this same machine for about $400 less. This machine is so much easier to clean and so much quieter than my others were. Love it. I had my others for 10 years and hope this lasts as long. Great product and I hung up from ordering knowing exactly what I was getting and how to use it. So easy to set up and use. I love the way the hose attaches to a swivel top. Great design. If you get this machine you will be happy with it. So will the person sleeping next to you.
