I’m a mouth breather mainly. Comfortable and easy to move around while sleeping.

Not for me
Can't use it. Didn't know you had to use nose plugs with it - too painful

I'VE USED THE ORACLE 452 ORAL CPAP MASK FOR OVER 15 YEARS AND LOVE THE EASE OF USE!
ZERO AIR LEAKS EVEN WITH MY BEARD. YOU HAVE TO LEARN TO RELAX YOUR JAW INSTEAD OF
BITING DOWN DURING THE INITIAL USE AND THE REST IS GREAT OPEN AIRWAY HISTORY.

Will be returning this item, does not work for me.

Buckets of drool
This device will make you slobber and drool all over the place to where you hear bubbles in the mouthpiece while you breathe. It might work for some but as another user stated not good at all

I HAVE BEEN USING THIS FOR YEARS AND IT IS GREAT

Well made and I hoped for the best...
I use a P10 nasal cpap with a Fisher Paykel Cpap. I struggle with dry mouth so this oral cpap seemed to be the ticket. It is well made and I tried it for a week. Once I got it fitted and running it was good until I came close to sleep and my mouth relaxed. Then air came from my throat to my nose and was stopped by the nose piece. This and the fact the internal mouth piece would detach kept me awake. I was sorry to send it back in the 30 day return. I am still looking for a solution...

Good service by cpapXchange.com, but wearing mask was like licking and swallowing the Sahara Desert!
Such dryness can't be good for teeth and gums and throat!!! May be good in an extremely humid climate but certainly not in dry Colorado, even with my cpap humidity setting on 8!

A good idea executed poorly
I have chronic non-allergic rhinitis and compound obstructive/centralized sleep apnea. So naturally using breathing machines at night to sleep irritates my nose. I hoped this was a solution as it was the only mouth only mask I could find. I lost two whole nights of sleep trying to get this thing to work. The included in-nose plugs leaked and came out. Swimming style nose clamps solved that. However the mouth piece has limited adjustability and pieces. No combination produced a good seal. My entire face was wet with drool and I just couldn't get the mouth to seal no matter what I tried. There is no sleeping with this thing. No seal, leaks loud, makes your mouth blow farts all night.

Great system-not for everybody
I wanted to try this mask, because the one I am using puts a sore on my nose. This one seals perfectly around the mouth. It is a must that you have the heat moisture or your mouth will be the desert. I still have leakage out the nose so that will take tIme. If you have Big nose this will work better for you.

Second one - wore out the first one!
I love this mask. Quiet - keeps the wife happy. No leaks. Great price. My first one lasted over a year and I was happy to purchase another at the great price on this site.

No more leaks
I tried several nasal masks and even with a silicon pad, still had breakthrough on the bridge of my nose. Tried a hybrid oral mask with nasal pillows and had huge leaks. The Oracle is small, light and seals beautifully. I have been using it for a week and a half and if you are comfortable with the mouthpiece (I used to scuba dive and snorkel) it's a winner.

I hate the way it rubbed against my tongue and the horrible dry mouth it gave me. My throat was so sore when I woke up.

Delivered early and 100% complete
I've been using this mask for about 5 years now, and it is the only mask that works for me. I have a mustache, and this mask doesn't leak. Once adjusted correctly (a 3-minute process), it works well. My mouth is dry when I wake up, but that's not a big thing, especially since I can actually get a good night's rest with this mask. Ordering: Price was great. Wasn't a large order, but it was shipped fast, and arrived before the expected delivery date. Nice!

Not a fan of the Oracle 452 Mask
Leaks, mouth piece is very large and the strap was also made for a very large head/neck. I would not recommend this product.

For Us Mouth Breathers
This mask is wonderful! As a former snorkeler, I find this just as comfortable. No more masks for me. They always leaked around the edges because of my beard. This is the appliance for me. I highly recommend it for others.

A mouth breather's best mask
I am a mouth breather mostly because I have a large overbite and I can't really close my mouth tight, the teeth just don't match up. Anyway, I've tried all the other masks and there are very few for mouth breathers- the Hans Rudolph and the Fisher & Paykel 432 and Forma and that is about it... I couldn't use a chin strap because it made my TMJ hurt. So I've tried this "Oral" mask on a whim and IT'S FANTASTIC! There is no leaking. The only problem is the nose plugs that come with the deal. I've had to use swimmer's nose clips instead. But it works and works well. I've found a great nose clip from Harvard Apparatus (599673 Reusable Nose Clip) and I'm going to order one soon. I don't like putting anything into my nose and it gets me claustrophobic to wear the ones that come with the mask. Even with my overbite the mouthpiece stays in my mouth. I also talk in my sleep and it stays in for that too. And, the amazing thing is that this particular mask is CHEAP compared to other masks made for mouth breathers! It is so easy to wear I forgot to snap in the headgear and the mouthpiece stayed in my mouth all night long anyway! I did accidentally ruin the filter in the top of the hose the first time I washed it though... don't forget there is a small filter there!!! But they include 5 extra filters in the box just for that reason! I'll probably have to keep extras on hand just in case! This mask is easy to clean and wear. If you are a mouth breather it is worth a try and it would be great to have on hand if you are prone to head colds or allergies that block your sinuses. I'm going to try to order another one to have on hand in case they discontinue this mask. Everyone always discontinues the things I like... from make-up to food so I'm going to try to stock up on this mask!

Oracle - Mask
Hi, The mouth mask is great, I need a little more adjustment time but the idea for mouth breathers is good. I am sleeping better and the dry mouth is not to bad. Everyone should use the nose plugs, they feel a little funny at first but are a big help, when using a mouth mask.

Excellent product w/minor design flaw
I have used the Oracle 452 Oral CPAP/BiPAP Mask for about 5 years now. I love the product & it is the only mask I will use because I am a mouth breather who has constant sinus trouble even after 2 sinus surgeries. I prefer to use the head strap with the mask in order to prevent the mask from coming out of my mouth when my jaw goes slack. Now for the design flaw... When using the head strap, the holes it attaches to on the mask are located too close to the edge of the unit. By being located where they are, there is not enough material on the edge of the holes & I inevitably pull the strap hooks through the silicone like material. I typically can get one of these masks to last 6-8 months, & my insurance will replace them every 6 months, but I have had them fail in as short as 3-4 months of use. This design flaw could easily be fixed by moving the holes another 1/8" to 3/16" in from the edge, leaving more material for the head strap hooks to hold on to.

I am sleeping better at night. I am becoming adjusted to the dryness in my mouth caused by the product, even while I'm using warmed water in the CPAP machine. I would recommend this product to those who breath through their mouth in their sleep, or have obstructed nasal breathing.

Better than anything I have tried so far.
This one just might work you can hardly tell you have it on and it is very quite. All the others are so heavey and bugs me all night. This one is not as heavey and I can not even tell it is on my face. Thank you for making a mouth one. I have been able to last 4 hours on this one where the others were about 30 min.

Mouth open out window of a fast moving automobile feeling
Hate it. Sore throat and ansal passages even with the humidity chamber warmed up to peak setting, distilled H2O at fill point, it still iritates mouth-throat-nose and ears. I'm going to trash it.

Review of Oracle 425 Oral cpap mask
The product itself seems to be of good quality, but I don't think that it is going to work for me. It just feels very uncomfortable to me. Honestly, I haven't worn it at night yet because it was so uncomfortable even when I just tried it on. I will probably have to try something else or go back to what I have been using. Either way I will continue to use cpapXchange because I have had great service. I will be looking in to it more before I know for sure. Thankfully I did purchase the insurance so that I can exchange.

Best mask for a
Even on a good day, I cannot breath through my nose comfortably. My sinuses are just too restricted. I was about ready to give up on CPAP/BiPAP because the nasal or nasal + oral masks (with a mandatory chin strap to keep my mouth closed) were a nightmare. Nothing fit well enough for me to sleep more than 4 hours. I would wake up in severe pain after that, and it would take at least an hour for the red marks on my face to fade. My machine is set at 15 PSI, and I really had to tighten the masks down to get a decent (not even good) seal. I have been using this mask for about a year now, and it is more comfortable and effective than any other I have tried. Even though I have a mustache, it seals well (probably because the seal is inside my mouth). I don't get red marks on my face, or air leakage through my nose. I consistently get 6+ hours of sleep before waking, and that was what I used to get before the sleep apnea. It should be cleaned properly daily, which takes about 2 minutes, and works well for me.
