DoubleGel Cushion for Exceptionally Soft & Comfortable Fit: SoftGel's DoubleGel cushion has two layers -- an outer clear gel layer that provides unparalleled softness and comfort, and an inner blue gel layer that adds stability and support. It is the first ever gel mask to offer ResMed's renowned performance and quality.
Breath-O-Prene Headgear: Mirage SoftGel features ResMed's adjustable Breath-O-Prene headgear designed to provide a secure fit without over-tightening or strap marks. Set-and-forget headgear clips eliminate the need for constant adjustments -- just find your fit and the clips do the rest.
Lightweight Frame with MicroFit Forehead Dial: The lightweight, durable mask frame offers a streamlined forehead support and MicroFit dial providing 24 positions of comfort at your fingertips. Easily adjustable with just one hand (even while lying down), the dial fine-tunes the mask fit when you need it most.
360º Elbow & Quiet Diffuser Vents: The SoftGel's 360º swivel elbow allows you to position the tubing wherever you want for maximum comfort. An innovative array of small vents built into the below diffuse air quietly and softly, at a short distance, away from the bed partner. The elbow partition also aids CO2 washout and further reduces noise.
SoftGel & Activa LT Convertable Comfort: Because the Mirage SoftGel and the Mirage Activa LT share the same mask frames you can use both Activa LT ActiveCell and SoftGel DoubleGel cushions with your mask.

The mask does not fit well. I had to tighten the straps so tight, it left an indentation across the top of my head. And the seal goes across the nasal openings cutting off my ability to breathe through my nose. Worthless!

No problems. Excellent mask
I've been using this product about 10 years. All I've ever replaced are the gel nasal and forehead interface. The only time I've experienced air leaking was when, after I first started using it, I had the head gear way too tight. When I loosened it up, the leak(s) went away.

Purchased this mask and found out the hard way that it slips and leaks too easily.

Fits better than the one I had.

New to me
I ordered this because my other mask was putting pressure on the bridge of my nose making it hard to breathe. I had to go that tight to keep a good seal. While I am still getting used to this mask and adjusting for a comfortable fit, I find it maintains a good seal without the bridge pressure on the nose. Make sure the cushion is firmly secure in the head gear, or you get major leakage. This is quite bulky, so if that bothers you, stay away from this one.

Mirage Softgel Mask
The mask seems to be well made. First time using this style mask. Problem is I cannot get a leak-proof seal without tightening the mask so tight it causes my face to hurt. Due to continuous leaking face-to-mask, I cannot get a good nights sleep.

The nasal mask isn't tall enough for my nose and its rubbed a sore on my nose which is bleeding by morning.

Close to 5 Star
I don't know in my life time that I will ever find a 5 star perfect mask. Let's face it strapping a mask on your face to sleep is not a natural event. With that being said this mask has been the best for me. Low air noise, fits good so that I can lay head on side if I choose. It has lasted for over a year and still good. Have tried 3 different masks in the last 5 years and so far this is the best.

(Almost) perfect mask
I've been using a Mirage Softgel Medium mask for over a year, but it always sat a little low on my face and was always something I could feel on my bottom lip. My provider suggested a small and it is Much better. That said, the forehead pad is a little bit too low on my forehead. It would be ideal if I could use the frame from the Medium on the Small softgel, but that's not possible. Given that, I still think this is one of the most comfortable masks I've ever worn.
