About the size of a can of cola, and weighing less than a pound, Transcend AUTO miniCPAP is one the smallest, lightest, most portable APAP machines in the world. And while it's small, it is sophisticated too so it's great for home as well as travel.
Transcend AUTO Mini is a premium Auto-CPAP with EZEX pressure relief for comfort. It is compatible with all CPAP masks and adjusts pressure levels on a breath-by-breath basis to deliver the most comfortable, successful sleep therapy. In addition Transcend Auto includes an adjustable ramp, therapy tracking, a universal power supply, and automatic altitude adjustment.
Auto-Adjusting Pressure: Because your sleep habits and needs can vary throughout the night the Transcend AUTO continually monitors your breathing to adapt to your changing therapy needs.
Small, Lightweight & Portable: The Transcend AUTO CPAP Machine is durable and strong; but it weighs less than a pound so it'll never weigh you down. It's small too and it looks great; at just 6.1 x 3.5 x 2.8 inches Transcend AUTO will fit in the palm of your hand and it can be easily stowed away in a carry on bag for travel!
EZEX Pressure Relief Technology: Like C-Flex from Respironics or EPR from Resmed, the Transcend EZEX offers pressure relief for comfort. Transcend EZEX delivers a more natural breathing experience by decreasing therapy pressure at the end of each breath, reducing the amount of resistance experienced during exhalation to improve overall therapy comfort. There are four EZEX settings -- OFF, 1, 2 and 3 -- that progressively increase the amount of exhalation pressure relief from none to a maximum of approximately 3CM.
5-Year Extended Warranty & Protection Plan Available: Choose the optional Transcend 5-Year Protection Plan, at the time of purchase, and your Transcend Auto-CPAP and AC Power Cord will be covered against accidental damage, wear and tear, or breakage for five years. As an added benefit the Protection Plan extends the Transcend's 3-Year Manufacturer's Warranty to an amazing 5-Years! The Transcend Protection Plan is available as an optional add-on in your shopping cart.
Compatible with Your Favorite CPAP Mask: The Transcend AUTO comes complete with a Universal Hose Adapter and a standard 6-foot CPAP hose so it can be used with any mask on the market.
Whisper Quiet Operation: Unique air bearing blower technology eliminates heat and friction in the Transcend AUTO so it can deliver vibration-free therapy at a whisper quiet 26.6 dBA sound level.
Ramp Up To Comfort: Many people find it is easier to fall asleep with a lower therapy pressure that gradually increases to the full prescribed pressure setting over time. The Transcend's ramp comfort feature does this. Ramp slowly increases therapy pressure over time (settings from 0 to 45 minutes) so you can breathe naturally as you fall asleep. If you wake up in the night and have trouble falling back to sleep, the ramp can be reinitiated with the simple push of a button.
Great For Home, Perfect For Travel: For the first time you have small, portable, and lightweight options for sleeping with CPAP while you're on the road, in a plane, under the stars, in a boat, an RV, a remote cabin, or even just weathering a power outage at home. Transcend AUTO is ready to use anywhere you are with automatic altitude adjustment to 8,000 feet above sea level. When traveling outside the US the Transcend will convert the voltage automatically so you can continue receiving safe and comfortable therapy and each Transcend AUTO contains plug adapters for use in many countries worldwide. Make sure you download the FAA Compliance Letter and the Transcend In the Himalayas video in the Links section of this page.
Amazing Power Options: The optional Transcend Mobile Power Adapter will power the Transcend AUTO (or recharge a Transcend Battery Pack) from "cigarette" style DC Power Outlets like those found in most vehicles.
Lightweight Transcend Batteries are are great option if you want to sleep away from fixed power sources. Weighing just over half a pound the P4 battery powers a Transcend for one night on average. For more time away, the P8 battery weighs just over a pound and will last for 2-3 nights on average. Transcend Batteries can also be attached to your CPAP as a backup power supply so your CPAP will work flawlessly, even during a power outage. Batteries can be recharged with AC, DC or Solar Power!
Convenient Compliance Tracking: If you want to track therapy compliance -- for yourself, for your job, or for your doctor -- the Transcend AUTO will help you do it. Transcend AUTO records, stores, and reports on up to 13 months of therapy compliance data -- including total therapy hours, therapy sessions, total blower hours, AHI and leak detection. Transcend Software (Included for Windows PCs) lets print out reports or email therapy data directly to your healthcare provider.
Optional Integrated Heated Humidifier: For added comfort the Transcend AUTO is available with an Integrated Heated Humidifier! The unique design of the Transcend Heated Humidifier conserves space by cradling the CPAP machine in the center of the humidifier and chamber. Heater settings (from 0 off to 5 highest) are easy to manage with a simple dial; and the water chamber holds a generous 1 1/3 cups of water. The Heated Humidifier includes a universal power supply and is powered by a slimline power cord separate from the Transcend's power supply. The Transcend Heated Humidifier cannot be powered with a Transcend Battery Pack or Mobile Power Adapter (DC Cord).
During your trial period, use this machine a lot to see if it works for you. I travel alot so I was very attracted to the Z1 CPAP Machine. I tried it for a few days and everything seem to go well so I put it away for the next trip. I was very excited. I took it on a 20 day cruise to South America. By about the second week, I developed a bad sinus infection with blood in the sinus drainage. I actually had to go to the ships doctor for a heavy dose of antibiotics. I did not immediately assume it was caused by the CPAP machine. After I came home and recovered, I put the machine away cleaning the mask and hose thoroughly. A few weeks later I took a short two night trip and used it with a different throughly cleaned mask and hose. By the second night, I again develop blood in sinus drainage. They thinks I am not getting enough humidification. But they offered no relief. I cannot use this machine. Written by YellowJacketBorn, 2018-08-02
I've traveled with this machine for over 3 years. It's lightweight and small enough to pack in my roller bag. It works quite well. I've only had a couple of issues and they were easy to work through. I see complaints from others about how it is too light to stay on the bedside table. Yes, that's true. I use long twist ties to secure it to the lamp on the table in every hotel room. Problem solved. Twice I woke up to intermittent "on" and "off" of the machine. I determined that I had not plugged the power cord in completely. Make sure your are plugged in properly and it works great. It is louder than my home machine. I wear earplugs in hotels to drown out the other outside noise anyway so that problem is solved also. Definitely recommend this machine as it is a good value for the money. Written by dredpiratedanno, 2018-07-06
Unit is slick plastic on the bottom and will easily slide off of your night table. The buttons are too small for a man's fingers to use easily and they are not lit at night so they are hard to find. And it is very loud before you get it over your nose Written by Flee, 2018-03-27
Transend CPAP works as advertised. The Humidifier design is cumbersome and too wide and tall. CPAPXchange company is great. People go out of their way to be helpful. Highly recommend the company. Written by TBRONZO, 2017-11-30
Great for travel. I love it. I wish I had purchased it sooner. Written by jwc5858, 2017-08-25
I am delighted with my Mini Auto-CPAP machine, it works great! When I consulted with the medical department I was told that it is a "great machine" and that meant a lot to me. I am excited to have such a tiny device available that can take on my trips and not to have the inconvenience of carrying a bulky, heavy CPAP. Even my mask fits into the bag provided- I definitely recommend it! Thank you for solving my problem!!! Written by lissette_roske, 2017-02-18
Purchased unit in April 2016 because of advertised small size. It's true, the CPAP itself is small. But with the humidifier unit, it's no smaller than other companies' products. So the "Mini" is essentially a lie. It's much noiser than my wife's respironics unit. And when the unit accidentally got turned on it's side, the humidifier leaked water into the CPAP itself and ruined the circuitboard. Transcend refused to honor the warranty because of the water damage. Rather than correct the design flaw, they chose to simply put in the fine print that water damage was not covered by the warranty. Being small made it flimsy, loud, and lacking features I've grown accustomed to. Written by B Ferguson, 2016-08-24
This is going to be great to travel with. There seems to be a bit more noise than with my larger Respironics CPAP. The increased noise seems to emanate from my mask, which is the same one that I normally use. Written by Ron, 2016-05-31
The Transcend APAP machine is a significant upgrade to their earlier generation machine which operated at a fixed pressure. When using their optional HME (Heat Moisture Exchange) mask assembly, this is truly a portable machine which can be used everywhere. Although it makes a bit more noise than a conventional full sized machine, it is excellent. Works on airplanes and remote locations without power. You only need to recharge every two days. This is a great little machine on its own. The exception is in conjunction with the water chamber. Whatever you do, DO NOT ORDER THE HUMIDIFIER!!! I have tried three different water chamber replacements in the last not-quite-a-year and every one of them has leaked. Leaked to the point that it has ruined my beautiful and expensive night stand that I have had for over 40 years. It is necessary for me to use a humidifier as we live in a very arid climate, so the entire thing sits on the tiled floor. Just be forewarned. Written by Cathie, 2016-03-12
I have had nothing but good things to say about Cpapxchange. They have saved me some big bucks. Written by Denis B , 2016-01-12
The first couple of nights were difficult. The machine came with the ramp feature pre-set. Once I was able to change that (request your preferred ramp setting when ordering to prevent this problem) all went well. I did put a piece of velcro on the "ON" button to make it easier to find in the dark. The service from CPAPExchange was excellent, delivery was on time, and machine works great. Would also recommend getting the larger travel bag. As a truck driver this unit is awesome. Written by H T Hart, 2016-01-05
this little machine is the bomb! it's quiet, easy to use and actually lets me get a decent night of sleep. i'll never regret the investment. Written by Dr J Lois, 2015-10-21
I purchased the Transcend Auto as a spare CPAP machine for use in a vacation home. I chose it mainly because of its size and other comments. I have a S9 ResMED which was originally prescribed for me. The Transcend is noticeably louder that the S9, especially when exhaling. When adding the humidifier to it, the size may be a bit smaller but the volume of space occupied is somewhat similar to the S9. I expect that my spouse will not be too happy with it due to the noise. Might have to put it in a drawer to cut down on the noise. Written by Rob S, 2015-10-11
As others have mentioned in their reviews, it is very difficult to find the on/off switch in the dark. It needs to be raised in height so you can reach out to turn it on wothout looking. Other than that is is very good, although a bit noisier than my Respironics machine. It will be perfect for our month long trip in Europe and I rather doubt, when we come home, that I will go back to my old one! Written by Dolly S, 2015-10-07
Purchased the mini auto-cpap for a two month trip that I will be leaving for soon. I did a practice run a couple nights and have no complaints. The small size is perfect. The service was very good when I ordered and it arrived in a timely manner. One small complaint is that due to it's weight it has a hard time staying on bedside table. I ended up putting it on my tablet and that gave enough traction to keep it in place. My husband is going to glue some little pads on the bottom of it and that will solve the problem. All and all I am VERY happy with my purchase. Written by Nancy M., 2015-09-16
I had a stint of doctor approved off-cpap time for about 10 years, but now that the Department of Transportation is cracking down on even the mildest of OSA cases, i am back on the what my wife calls the Darth Vader machine, only now, with this machine being so small and quiet, and with the ezex and auto titration, this almost doesn't seem like the same thing at all. Very quite and easy to operate. Written by David M, 2015-06-26
Excelent smallest CPAP machine PERFECT FOR The COUNTRIES WITH ELECTRICITY PROBLEM VERY GOOD FOR TRAVELING Written by Abdul R K, 2015-01-25
I have dealt with this firm for over a year on several occasions. In each and every case, they have been a delight to deal with. Knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. When a problem arose, they did not shy away but rose to the occasion to solve 110%. I highly recommend them. Written by Eric L., 2014-11-03
I love how small and compact it is. The 2 battery works for 2+ days (but not 3). I am uncomfortable with how loud it is. Unless I am camping or the power goes out I will probably keep using my ResMed. Written by Gail, 2014-08-27
Great Little machine. I use the P8 Battery and it lasts over 10 hours. Way enough for one night's sleep. Good software too. Don't forget to charge the battery NOT connected to the machine the first time. In the morning, hit the Ramp button AND the power button simultaneously to blow excess moisture out of the machine for thirty minutes. It will shut of automatically. This will increase the life of the machine. Because of the battery life, software, cost, and all that's included in the travel bag, I think this is a better value than the Z1. Happy zzzzz's Written by jlawr, 2014-06-07
A real disappointment, this machine is both very loud and the auto feature is uneven. I have used two other auto cosmos and they are superior in every way. It's small and light but I'll never benefit because I'll never use it. Written by Ron, 2014-06-05
Bought the Auto Ezex for travel. Love the size and battery. Very helpful. Written by Dave, 2014-03-05
The service was good. The unit arrived within the stated time period with everything I ordered. The Auto CPAP was as small as I had hoped. I have only one issue which is a minor one. The unit is so light you need to place it on a surface that provides a bit of friction so the unit doesn't slide off the night stand. I also purchased the 2 day battery pack with it. It lasted 2 nights plus a couple of hours as advertised. I plan on using the unit on the airplane for overseas travel. Written by B. Wood, 2014-02-07
I took this product on the airlines for its first trip out. Getting the airport was so much easier. On the plane, there was no need for the overhead storage. The unit stayed on the nightstand without sliding off. Finally...a really workable product that is lightweight. This is great for those who are mobility-challenged. Overall: Excellent!! I've been traveling regularly for about 10 years with a CPAP, and have been looking for a really good one ever since my (sadly discontinued) Goodknight travel CPAP took a dive in the security line of the Hartford, CT airport several years ago. I've used a few different models since then, but most are blocky, if small. The Transcend is the smallest I've ever used, and after two weeks of use on the road seems to have few, if any, drawbacks. I really like the fact that it comes with software that allows both configuration and the ability to view compliance data, which I've never really paid attention to before. The only flaw in the design that I can see is the strange curved bottom, obviously left over from the previous head-mounted models from Transcend, but I've found that a standard hotel washcloth does a great job keeping it in place, even on slippery granite-topped bedside tables. I love this machine. Small, light, whisper quiet (most noise comes from my exhalation), great light-weight battery options. And the best part - it fits in the outside "bottle holder" on my carry-on bag! Written by Michael M, 2013-11-14
